Title: 2D72 not turning on
Customer Consultation

I have a seldom-used (maybe three times....) handheld
oscilloscope 2D72.  I last used it in November 2021 for
several hours.

Now, it does not turn on.  When plugged in to the charging
cable, it does not show any lights or turn on.

What are my options for evaluation, service, and/or repair?

Please try to take out the battery, and then connect the charger whether the machine can start normally. Or it may be too long without charging, resulting in complete power consumption, you can also recommend a new battery.

If the battery cannot be switched on even if the battery is replaced or the charger is connected without a battery, the charge management chip may be broken. Measure Figure 1 below first.
If it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to charge the battery every half a month, otherwise the battery may be over discharged and the charge management chip may be damaged during charging.

I have a similar issue. I tested the 5V(C22) and 3.1V (L5) locations and only measured 350mV at the L5. Is there any option to repair this?
