Title: Hantek 2C42 autoscaling

Customer Consultation

Hello,
I have a problem with my 2c42 dumbbell oscilloscope. Works fine for 2 years until damaged. Still running, loading, but autoscaling doesn't work. Is it possible to fix it?
Best regards

The autoscaling does not work means that the oscilloscope has no response after pressing Auto, or the oscilloscope has not selected an appropriate setting after pressing Auto?

If the oscilloscope does not respond, please disassemble the oscilloscope to check whether the black carbon particles on the back of the keys are dirty. Wipe them with alcohol and then try again.

hello, thanks for the answer. I cleaned the buttons but the problem still remained. The oscilloscope works but in manual mode. After pressing, auto does not calibrate and does not show the truth. Relays click but does not calibrate itself. The situation applies to both channels. Best regards.

Can you see the waveform by manually adjusting the time/div or voltage/div settings?
The connector "Gen Out" of Hantek2C42 outputs the square waveform 1KHz@2V. Please connect "Gen Out" to CH1, and press Auto to check whether the scope display the waveform normally.
